Yo Dusty, are you looking to buy this helmet and asking for personal opinions on it? Personal opinions IMHO are worthless. As long as it's got a SNELL 2005 sticker (check the SNELL website to make sure it hasn't been recalled) price and other features have nothing to do with the safety of the helmet. So, when buying a SNELL approved helmet, the only important criteria is yours; i.e.

• * Fit; you have to personally wear it at least 30 minutes and say it feels good. It can't be too loose either; it must take both hands to get it on and off. Your cheeks should puff up above the cheeks pads.

• * Features: does it have and do you need anti-buffetting aids, cool air intakes etc? Depends on you and the car you're in of course.

• * Cool factor; how cool is the Sparco brand around your 'hood? Watch your favorite drivers on TV to see what brand they wear. That's your criteria if you choose to value it.

If you really want a bunch of strangers giving you their personal opinions like they're on stone tablets, do a search on one of the more well populated sites; like ApexSpeed, NSXPrime or Trackpedia. What you'll find of value embedded in all the threads will be discussion about how skulls are either "a Bell shape" or "an Arai shape", etc. But, personally, I wouldn't bother with any of that. I'd just live with the helmet on for 30-45 minutes , maybe do a few pushups, run in place and see if you're in love with it after that time. You'll know. Good luck.
