Because of the unique format of the NESCCA Double National at Pocono, the Tri Region Race Group has made a minor modification to the tire rule for this event. Since the Friday qualifying applies to both races (Sat and Sun) a total of eight tires will be permitted for the weekend.
** 16. FORMULA MAZDA TIRES. Each car may have two sets of tires for the weekend. These tires will be marked in a suitable manner prior to their first use. All other provisions of Formula Mazda Rule F.1.e.10 apply. **
Tech will mark up to eight tires for each car entered. You may bring your car to Tech so they can mark all four tires or bring individual tires to Tech to be marked. If you catch them at a slow time, they may be able to mark tires in your paddock space.
