I want to get into racing as a career. I'm 19 and I was wondering how I could go about doing this? Any help from anyone will be gratefully appreciated.

Email Michael McDowell. He made it to the big show through savvy self marketing and stellar on track results. Bottom line...there are only a few seats at the
top of the game and a thousand of butts that want to sit there.
I was assuming you want to drive a race car for a living. If not, then there are far more avenues to make auto racing a career. There is a demand for marketing, administration, fabrication, mechanical, track support, truck drivers, caterers, etc. for the teams and associated vendors. My suggestion would be to go to a professional race and inquire as to the career possibilities with the attending teams and supplying vendors. |

Alright thanks guys. I found 2 teams that will help me out. I just need to find the funds now(the hard part).
How can I go about getting sponsors to help pay for a seat? How much in total do you guys think I would need to start with? |
